Design Excellence Forum is a biennial event covering design innovation and sustainability, organised by Ramboll, global leader in architecture and engineering, in collaboration with LRL and UCL (University College London). LRL’s co-curatorial role is focused on promoting synergies and collaboration between design process and science.
The 2024 edition will take place on 27th September.
The Forum will take place at the PEARL (Person-Environment-Activity Research Laboratory), a unique and advanced research facility made to test the ways in which people interact with their environment. It is an exploratory space in which it is possible to create real-sized environments, so to examine how people interact with the environment through multisensorial simulations.
Together with key practicioners, researchers and design thinkers, the Forum will explore the interconnected themes of Design, Research and Innovation, developed in four following sessions:
